Scale: 1/100
Series: MG

First of All, I would like to wish Everyone and all my follower of the blog and also frequent visit of my blog a very Happy New Year in 2011. Thanks for visiting my blog.. thanks for the support. Cheers...

A Quick Review of the BAPA Gundam!(RX78-2 Ver 2.0) XD!

Inner Frame
- Plastic quality is nice.
- Snap-fit is done nicely.
- Firm and easily fitted into.. without much of the problem at all.
- There're Pistons for the hand and trust me.. the hand was very detail..
- There're needs to put on coloring on the piston to make it look real cool!..
- The Legs and Fingers are still in progress.. but the way I see from the runner.. it was awesome..

Joints/Articulation
- Joints are very firm and good quality
- Articulation is fantastic as you can see from the photos of the hand.. look at how it can bend!

Exterior Armour
- Plastic quality hard and good.
- Colour is just nice, as it comes in a dull color.. It can be sprayed to other color scheme!.. Maybe a Metallic Finish? or it can be into a Flat Finish, or even a Glossy Finish.. It could be just done on weathering.. to make it a little worn off battle damage..
- The result for doing that, 1 word can be categorize it.. Supreme Awesome!

Buying Recommendation
- If you are in a budget constrain, this is a good choice.
- If you are looking forward to painting and modding, do get this :)
- Seriously recommend this guy because it's 98% same as the original and if I'm not mistaken, the price for the original cost almost 1 1/2 more than the price of this kit.
- But for sure I would still say this, if you really have the money and still don't trust other brand than Bandai.. Don't buy :)

Cheers.

Scale: 1/144
Grade: High
Mobile Suit: Verde Buster
Estimated Time Completion: 4 hours
Actual Time Completion: In Progress (2 Hours)
Contains: 1 Free Stand for this kit!

Inner Frame
- There're no inner frame for High Grade version.

Joints/Articulation
- Joints are firm.
- Articulation is good as for High Grade, It's a nice move.

Exterior Armour
- Plastic is good.
- Color is nice.. not much to complain off.
- Snap fit every part of the kit.. There are really good fitting for the parts.

Buying Recommendation
- If you are in a budget constrain, this is a good choice.
- If you are looking forward to painting and modifying the kit, do get this :)
- This kit is cost around RM 20, where as Bandai would cost around RM 50, well, as for the conclusion after building this kit, it's 98% similar to Bandai. Just the outer layer plastic has different feeling to the Bandai.
- At the end,I would still say this, if you really have the money, do get Bandai :)

Cheers.

New Project - MG Exia Ignition Mode..

Project Battled Damage Exia
====================
Manufacturer: 高高模型
Scale: 1/100
Series: MG
Origin: Gundam00
Price: Normal price - RM90, Promotional price - 2 for RM140 (from Takumikun)
Estimated Time Completion: 12 hours
Actual Time Completion: 10 hours

Quick Review
- This kit is fun to build, and the end result is not too far away from the original Bandai version :p
- The plastic quality is not so good, and the parts are not as refined as Bandai therefore more work is needed if you really want the kit to be as presentable as the Bandai's.
- The GN drive is a bit messy but no major issue here.
- The decals are surprisingly good!
- The ratings are my personal opinion... and I'm using Bandai's as the baseline.

Articulation (no rating, Bandai is equally bad)
- unless otherwise said so, this quick review applies to the Bandai version too...
- Head: BAD. Single-joint, not much movement.
- Chest: OK. Can lean forward and backward by a bit.
- Torso: BAD. Although there is a ball joint, the skirts are in the way of the torso movement.
- Shoulder: OK.
- Upper arm: OK.
- Wrist: BAD. The wrist guard is in the way blocking the movement.
- Hand: Bandai's hand is much better!
- Groin/Hip: BAD! BAD! BAD! (same to Bandai) The joints provide excellent movement, but parts like the GN Blade hanger/holder, the skirts and the tight armour are preventing the movement!
- Knee: GOOD!
- Ankle: VERY BAD!

Plastic Quality: Bandai's a lot better. 4/10
Snap-fit-ability: Mostly OK. 7/10
Colour: OK. 7/10
Chrome Parts: Average. 5/10
Decals: Good! 8/10
GN Drive: Bad! 4/10

Buying Recommendation
- RM90 vs RM240... if you are in a budget constrain, this is a good choice.
- If you are looking forward to painting and modding, do get this :)
- If you are only assembly and not any painting, get the Bandai version.
- If you have money, get the BANDAI!

Cheers.

The Shin Musha No Jin - Full Review!

INTRODUCTION
=============
This is the First MG from TT Hongli that I've built!.. and it took the longest hour to built it.. with detail coloring on the piston plus the panel lining done!.. Overall the result was superb.. Photo shooting for this kit was by myself and because some of the pictures were taken back from my threads in lowyat forum, so it's a re-used picture and might have lowyat.com tag.

The Full Review
============
Manufacturer : TT Hongli(高高模型)
Scale: 1/100
Grade: Master
Mobile Suit: Shin Musha No Jin
Estimated Time Completion: 10 hours
Actual Time Completion: 12 hours

Inner Frame
- Plastic quality is nice.
- Snap-fit is done nicely.
- Firm but easily fitted into.. without much of the problem after a slight cut to the side on the male plastic, and it will be easily fitted into the female holes.
- There're Pistons for the leg and thrust me.. the leg was very detail..
- There're needs to put on coloring on the piston to make it look real cool!..

Joints/Articulation
- Joints are very firm.
- Articulation is fantastic as you can see from the photos.
- As, this is my first MG built model.. I had difficulty in putting in the fingers.

Exterior Armour
- Plastic quality hard and good.
- Colour is just very nice.. Glossy + Shinning so there isn't much of the coloring needed for this kit.
- As for the shinning gold part.. from the moment of trimming out from the runners, I had touch up the color using the Gundam Marker metallic gold to cover the lost of the color coating from the gates.
- The result for doing that, 1 word can be categorize it.. Awesome!

Buying Recommendation
- If you are in a budget constrain, this is a good choice.
- If you are looking forward to painting and modding, do get this :)
- Seriously recommend this guy because it's 98% same as the original and if I'm not mistaken, the price for the original cost almost 1 1/2 more than this kit.
- But for sure I would still say this, if you really have the money and still don't trust other brand than Bandai.. Don't buy :)

Cheers.
